The Mines Silver and gold stone is mined in the valley that divides the two regions. Pay is higher than average to work in the mines, and work is on a voluntary basis. The Republic owns some of these mines, and keeps all but twenty percent of each product, which it gives to the Albanuites in exchange for being allowed to mine it.
